Organiser - Vijnana Bharti


Vijnana Bharati is essentially people's science movement for promoting and propagating Science and Technology developments in our country where science, involving both engineering and technology, is aimed at societal development, social harmony, ecological balance and environmental sanctity. Vijnana Bharati, with its national headquarters in New Delhi, has a federal structure spanning 22 state units involving 5000 member scientists.

Vijnana Bharati's flagship programs include:

  • World Ayurveda Congress
  • Bharatiya Vigyan Sammelan
  • World Congress on Vedic Sciences
  • Jnan Vijnan Pratibha Pariksha

complemented by many State level Science & Technology programs. Vijnana Bharati have received National Award for Outstanding Efforts in Science and Technology Communication by NCSTC (Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India) in the year 2007 and Jawaharlal Nehru Prize for Science Popularization by Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) for the year 2005-06. Vijnana Bharati closely works with Central Govt. Ministries and State Govts to implement its various Science & Technology programs.
